Lawyer: Welfare letters broke law (Concord Monitor)

Epsom officials violated state law when they sent a form letter to all past welfare recipients telling them they had to repay their assistance plus 6 percent interest, according to Bob Brazil, a lawyer with New Hampshire Legal Assistance. Brazil is considering challenging the town and is looking for anyone who received the letter.
