Charles F. Elsesser Jr., a veteran defender of the rights of farm workers and low-income housing groups, has been named a winner of the Kutak-Dodds Prize, awarded annually by the National Legal Aid & Defender Association to a lawyer whose work makes a significant contribution to improving the human dignity of the poor.
